A set of seat belts from the Czech maker HGW. It is not a model but a detail accessory for the cockpit of the F-4 Phantom II fighter-bomber in the naval (NAVY) configuration. It combines cloth belts of a fine printed fabric with photo-etched metal buckles and fittings.
The belts replace the flat plastic or merely painted belts from the original kit. The textile material can be shaped, folded and left to hang loosely over the seat, so the result looks realistic. Meant for models of the F-4 Phantom in the naval version in 1:48 scale.
Separate the photo-etched buckles from the fret carefully and join them to the cloth belts with cyanoacrylate. The fabric can be toned gently and the belts stand up to the common non-aggressive modeling products. Work with tweezers and a sharp knife, the parts are small.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
