A decal sheet in 1:48 scale with four squadron badges of the Swedish air base F 16, based at Uppsala. An important clarification right at the start: the designation F 16 here means a Swedish air unit, not the American F-16 fighter. This is an accessory for finishing a model, not a kit.
Swedish air bases were divided into squadrons and each had a badge of its own, usually carried on the fuselage or on the fin. The four badges on the sheet mean that you can finish a model as a machine of a particular squadron, or use the sheet on several models.
Unit badges tend to be colorful and are often laid on curved surfaces, where the film readily forms creases. Prepare a glossy base, cut the badge out closely, soak it briefly and let it rest. Put a drop of water on the model, slide the decal over and draw the excess off with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges, not by wiping sideways. On a curve a stronger decal softener helps, and so does a pin at the end: the film is pierced where the crease is and the softener soaks into it. Once it has dried, go over it with gloss clear so that the edge of the film disappears, and even the surface out with a flat coat.
The decals are supplied on their own. The model, clear coat and decal softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
