The set brings photo-etched exterior parts for the Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat model in 1:48 scale - usually covers, grilles, panels, bracing and other fine outer elements that plastic parts cannot render faithfully. It raises the realism of the surface of the model.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was an American carrier-based fighter of the Second World War. The F6F-5 version was the most widely built and the highest-performing variant, with a powerful radial engine and a sturdy structure. The Hellcat became one of the most successful carrier fighters in the Pacific.
