Focke Wulf 190A correct tail 1:48 is a resin detail set from AML with an accurately shaped tail surface for Fw 190A models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model but a resin correction set. It replaces the tail of an Fw 190A model with an accurately shaped resin part that corrects the profile and the outline of the fin and the tailplane where the plastic model does not match the real aircraft. It is a targeted correction for modelers who care about the fidelity of the shape.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A was a fighter powered by the BMW 801 radial engine, one of the most successful German fighters of the Second World War. The shape of the tail surfaces is fundamental to recognition and to the fidelity of the silhouette, and it is precisely that which the set puts right.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Before bonding with super glue (cyanoacrylate), check the fit dry at the line of the cut. Fill and sand the transitions on the fuselage.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
