This is a masking set for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-4 in 1:48 scale, not a kit. The masks are pre-cut into a self-adhesive carrier and during spraying they cover the areas that are to stay free of paint. The set is tied to one particular machine and its personal marking, so it is cut exactly to the shapes and dimensions of that scheme and to a particular kit. Check beforehand, therefore, that it matches the model you are building. The dimensions and shapes are based on the Eduard kit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A was a German single-seat fighter aircraft with a radial engine, all-metal construction and a wide landing gear track, which made operation from field surfaces easier. The A-4 version was among the early production forms of the A series. The individual machines differed from one another in the personal marking on the fuselage, which was often complex in shape and on a model is easier to spray through a mask than to apply as a decal.
The base has to be smooth and cured, otherwise the mask will not seal. Lift the mask off the sheet with tweezers, lay it on dry and press the edge down with a toothpick. Apply the paint in several very thin coats so that no step forms on the edge. With larger markings it pays to spray over the edge with the color of the base first, which seals any leak. Take the masks off shortly after the paint has set and give the area a gloss clear coat before the decals.
The package contains only the masks. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
