Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two pieces of the GBU-12 Paveway II laser-guided bomb in 1:48 scale, cast in resin. It is an accessory for a finished aircraft model, not a kit of an airplane. According to the name there are two pieces in the package.
The GBU-12 belongs to the Paveway II family: a guidance section with a laser seeker is fitted to the front of a classic bomb body and folding stabilizing fins to the rear. The two-part construction is characteristic, with a smooth body between two markedly detailed ends. For a model that means a lot of small edges, which injected plastic as a rule simplifies.
On this type it is precisely the forward guidance fins and the rear stabilizers that are the most delicate. Unpack the casting over a tray with a rim, therefore, as a fin that springs away is practically impossible to find on the floor. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-toothed saw and sand the marks down wet; resin dust is not to be inhaled, so wet the abrasive paper and wipe the surface with a damp cloth after work. Move small parts with locking tweezers, not with your fingers. Before painting, wash both bombs in water with detergent and let them dry thoroughly. While spraying it works well to stick each piece onto a wire pushed into the hole left by the casting block and stick the holder into modeling putty; you then paint both bombs at once and do not have to put them down. They are glued to the pylons with cyanoacrylate glue only after painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
