This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model. The set holds parts from thin brass sheet intended for models of the German Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.B (Sd.Kfz.142) assault gun in 1:48 scale. It adds the fine fittings that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic.
The StuG III Ausf.B was an early type of assault gun on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw.III with a short 75 mm gun for direct infantry support. The photo-etched parts add thin-walled covers, brackets, lifting eyes and tool clamps, which give the model a markedly finer and more convincing look.
Cut the parts from the fret, run the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a base coat. We recommend tweezers and a steady hand; this is work for more experienced modelers.
The accessory does not hold the model itself, nor paints or glue. It serves only to detail a kit.
