FLY 1:48 Grunau Baby IIb Germany is a kit of the classic training glider in German markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the German Grunau Baby IIb training glider, in 1:48 scale, in a version with German decals. FLY is a Czech maker of short-run models. The package makes it possible to build a static model of this unpowered glider in the colors of its country of origin.
The Grunau Baby was a single-seat school and training glider designed in Germany in the 1930s. Its simple wooden construction covered in fabric and its dependable flying qualities made it one of the most widespread gliders of its time, used in large numbers in Germany itself. As an unpowered machine it served for basic glider training.
Clean up the small parts and the struts carefully and dry-fit them. Use thin cement for plastic and fine sanding. The large wings benefit from a good primer and an even coat sprayed with an airbrush. Mask the cockpit glazing and paint the interior before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
