Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Hunter is a British single-seat jet fighter of the 1950s. The F.6 version is one of its fighter standards, and machines of this type went not only to the Royal Air Force but to a whole range of foreign users, because the Hunter was exported heavily. For a modeler it is a rewarding subject: the clean lines of the fuselage and the swept wing let even small details stand out that a plastic kit cannot manage on its own.
This is a set of photo-etched parts, that is metal elements etched into a thin sheet in which they are held on narrow tabs. Photo-etch can capture a thickness and a relief that cannot be made in injection-molded plastic, and it is therefore used for fine elements filling out a finished model. The list of parts and the kit the set is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions; check it against the kit you have.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a firm surface and sand the remains of the tab away, so that the edge lines up. Make the bends in the marked grooves, ideally in a bending tool or between two rulers, and do it in one movement: bending back and forth tires the metal and the part cracks. They are glued with super glue laid on in a small amount; on larger areas a two-part epoxy with a longer setting time suits better. Degrease the elements before painting and spray them with a primer, or the paint will not hold on smooth metal.
A kit, paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
