Figures in 1:48 scale on the theme of a ceremonial parade of members of the Kriegsmarine, the navy of Germany of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
Kriegsmarine was the name of the navy of Germany during the Second World War. Alongside service at sea, its life also included ceremonial parades, reviews and the presentation of decorations, when sailors stood in close formation and in prescribed uniform. Scenes of this kind are among the rewarding themes of figure sets, because they give a scene both scale and a story.
The set contains figures in 1:48 scale on the theme of a ceremony of members of the Kriegsmarine. How many figures the package holds, what poses they are in and whether further small items are enclosed are stated by the manufacturer; go by the illustration and the data on the box. The set comes into its own in a diorama with a harbor or deck setting and equally as an accessory for a larger model.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back carefully, so that the folds of the cloth and the fine details of the equipment are preserved. Choose the glue according to the manufacturer's instructions: on parts that are not polystyrene, plastic cement has no effect and cyanoacrylate or two-part glue is used. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry. Work from the base coat to the main shade, lighten the raised areas and add a darker tone into the folds, so that the figures gain depth.
The package contains the figures stated. Models, paints, glue and bases are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
