A set of water-slide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer HAD models for the Aero L-39ZO and L-39V trainer and light attack aircraft. The sheet brings the markings of machines in the service of the East German Air Force and the Hungarian Air Force and contains a complete set of technical lettering (stencils). The decals are intended for application to plastic models of the given type in this scale; the model itself is not included.

The real subject

The Aero L-39 Albatros is a Czechoslovak jet trainer, one of the most widespread machines of its category. The ZO version was lightly armed, and the V denotes the target-towing variant. Albatroses flew with dozens of air arms, including the East German and the Hungarian ones.

Use

• unify the surface under a decal with gloss clear, so that no silvering effect arises
• dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing onto the model
• finish the bedding with a decal softener and fix it with a matte or semi-gloss clear
