Yahu Models 1:48 Lancaster is a finished color photo-etched instrument panel for a model of the British heavy bomber. It drops into the cockpit with no painting.

This is not a kit of an aircraft but an addition for the cockpit. The set holds a photo-etched instrument panel printed in color at the factory, with legible dials and lettering. On a large bomber the pilot's compartment is clearly visible under the extensive glazing, and the plastic part from the kit usually looks flat there. A photo-etched panel is therefore one of the few additions that genuinely show in a finished model while calling for no demanding rebuild of the interior.
The Avro Lancaster was the main British heavy night bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by four V12 Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, and its large undivided bomb bay allowed it to carry even exceptionally heavy bombs, which made it the carrier for the most demanding operations. The crew numbered seven men, and the pilot sat on the left on a raised station under the long glazing, from where he had a view of the extensive instrument panel and of the controls for the four engines.
Always do a dry fit, and on large models especially carefully, because the cockpit is closed up between the fuselage halves. Sand the raised relief off the plastic panel, so that the photo-etched part seats flat. Glue it with a drop of cyanoacrylate or a glue for photo-etched parts, applied with a wooden stick around the edge. The printing must not come into contact with solvents. On a bomber it pays to adapt the surroundings as well, that is, the shade of the interior and the seat with its belts, so that the panel does not look like the only detailed element in an otherwise bare cockpit.
This is an addition for the cockpit, not a kit of an aircraft. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
