Responsibility details are not available.
A two-sided mask set from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Bf 110G-4 in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set handles the glazing from both sides, that is from outside and from inside the cockpit. It is a painting accessory that you buy in addition to a kit; the aircraft model is not part of the package.
The Bf 110 was a twin-engine, two-seat aircraft; the G-4 version was intended for night fighting and carried radar equipment. What matters for a modeler is that the cockpit is long, drawn out and divided into many separate segments of glazing. There are therefore markedly more frames than on a single-seat fighter, and painting them by hand with a brush is both slow and thankless.
A set of this kind consists of a larger number of small shapes. Work in sections: apply a few neighboring templates, check them against the light and only then go on, instead of masking the whole cockpit at once. Choose tweezers with a fine tip and lay the template down dry, so that it can still be shifted. Longer straight frames can be done with tape in one go, but on curves let it follow the shape a few millimeters at a time, otherwise it lifts at the edge. At the end check the joints once more under a sharp light, because a single edge that has not seated means retouching on the most visible part of the model.
The package contains masking templates only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
