A set of accurately cut painting masks of kabuki (washi) tape for 1:48 scale. The BASIC level covers the canopy glazing, the most demanding part of the masking. Kabuki is a thin rice paper tape with a light adhesive that follows the frames exactly and does not let paint bleed under the edge.
The MiG-25, NATO reporting name Foxbat, was a Soviet twin-engine supersonic aircraft able to reach very high speeds and altitudes. The RBT version was the reconnaissance-bomber variant, Foxbat B in Western designation. The intricate canopy framing can be painted markedly more accurately with pre-cut masks.
Move the mask onto clean glazing and press the edge down. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and lift the mask off while it is still fresh. Cover the remaining areas with masking fluid or tape.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
