Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Model 11 - Japanese aces over China decal set 1:48 (ROP o.s.)

A separate decal set (aftermarket markings) on the theme of Japanese aces over China in 1:48 scale from the Czech publisher ROP o.s. It contains waterslide decals - national insignia and personal markings - for the early land-based version of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Model 11 fighter. This is an accessory for a model, NOT an aircraft kit: you use the set on your own A6M2 kit in this scale.

The subject

The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier fighter famous for its long range and agility. The Model 11 version was an early land-based variant without folding wingtips and was used over China before Japan entered the war in the Pacific, where Japanese pilots built up a series of victories. The set offers markings for exactly these period machines.

Use

• dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and let it release from the backing
• slide it onto the gloss (varnish-prepared) surface of the model and position it
• use a softener so that the decal settles into the engraved lines
• once dry, go over it with a clear varnish for protection and an even sheen

This is a separate decal set. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
