The real subject

The K2 evolution was created in the workshop of the Kremer brothers out of the Porsche 935 and in 1978 it was among the cars with which private teams could stand up to works machinery. The special in the colors of the Willeme team appeared in the German endurance championship, where the sharpest silhouette cars of the continent came together at the time and where crews from neighboring countries lined up on the grid as well. The extended nose and the flat fenders were created so that the car would obstruct the air on its way as little as possible, and on the long straights that paid off richly.

Application tips

Large single-color areas are prone to trapped air. If you see a bubble under the film, pierce it with the tip of a needle from the side, put a drop of water on the spot and press the air out with a cotton swab toward the opening; an effort to drive a bubble out without piercing usually ends in a crack.
