A resin detail set of four German MK 108 30 mm aircraft autocannons in 1:48 scale from GasPatch models. The package holds four resin castings. This is an accessory for raising the level of detail, not a model in its own right; it replaces the coarser parts of the base kit.
The MK 108 was a German 30 mm aircraft autocannon of the Second World War. It was marked by a compact build and the high destructive power of its shells; it was used as the armament of fighters against bombers. The fine castings capture the characteristic shape and the detail of the weapon faithfully.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The metal look will be helped by a dark steel base and fine dry-brushing.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
