A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale for the Japanese Nakajima B5N2 carrier attack aircraft, known to the Allies as the Kate, on the theme of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima B5N2 was a Japanese carrier attack aircraft that entered foreign literature under the Allied code name Kate; in Japanese designation it was the Type 97. It carried a torpedo or bombs and took off from the decks of aircraft carriers. On 7 December 1941 machines of this type took part in the attack on Pearl Harbor, where they went in both for torpedo attacks from low level and for level bombing.
This is a decal sheet in 1:48 scale, tied to the theme of the attack on Pearl Harbor. It adds markings for an aircraft to a kit. The scope of the sheet and the number of options is described by the manufacturer in the instructions that belong with it.
Cut the motif out near the edge of the printing and place it in lukewarm water. As soon as the backing releases, slide the decal into place and pull the paper out from under it. The surface under the decal should be smooth and glossy, otherwise air gets trapped under the print and a flat edge appears. Squeeze the water out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges, use a softener on broken-up areas and finally varnish everything so that the decal blends into its surroundings.
What is supplied is the decal sheet on its own. A kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
