Responsibility details are not available.
This item is an accessory to a kit, not a model of the aircraft. It contains resin wheels for models of the Panavia Tornado aircraft in 1:48 scale, in the variant the manufacturer designates as type b. The range is listed in two forms, as type a exists alongside type b, because tires of different forms were used on the real machines.
The Tornado is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in cooperation between Great Britain, Germany and Italy. It served in strike, reconnaissance and air-defense roles and remained in service for several decades, during which it went through a number of modifications. Its landing gear is fairly hefty, so the wheels are among the clearly visible elements of a finished model.
Before fitting the set, compare the shape of the hub with photographic documentation of the machine you are building: it is precisely because of the differences between forms that the manufacturer offers two variants. Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the seating surface so that the model stands straight once finished. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Do not spray the tire pure black; a dark gray shade with fine lightening of the crown looks more natural in scale. It is advisable to mask the hub with a disc of masking tape.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as resin castings. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
