A set of waterslide decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:48 scale, devoted to the unmanned QF-4E target Phantoms operated at Tyndall air force base. The set holds markings for the commemorative heritage finishes into which some machines were converted toward the end of their service. These are add-on decals for completing a model, not a kit.
The QF-4E is the unmanned target version of the F-4 Phantom II fighter-bomber, rebuilt from retired airframes and used for practice and weapon trials. Before the final end of operations, some of these machines received nostalgic finishes recalling historic units and the era of the Phantom's service. Prominent orange areas raising visibility are also a characteristic feature of target drones. Verify the particular machines and schemes against the instructions in the set.
Finish the model in its base scheme and clear coat it with gloss. Slide the decals onto their places after soaking in lukewarm water, align them and blot the water away. On large areas and transitions across engraved lines, use a decal softener and a decal fixer, and finally unify everything with a protective clear coat in the sheen you want.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
