It captures a Russian fighter pilot and, according to the name, also contains a pilot's seat suitable for the Yakovlev Yak-3, Yak-7 and Yak-9 aircraft in 1:48 scale. The set will bring the cockpit of a model to life, as well as a view at an airfield.
The fighter aircraft of the Yakovlev Yak-3, Yak-7 and Yak-9 line were among the most widespread Soviet fighters of the Second World War. The figure captures a pilot in period flight gear; the enclosed seat is shaped to suit the cockpit of these aircraft.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways while sanding. Apply primer before painting; the face and the gear are best painted with gradual layering and glazes, and the seat is finished to match the interior of the particular model.
