The resin figure Soviet fighter pilot of the Second World War with a seat for the La-5 in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus. A cockpit figure to be painted; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a Soviet fighter pilot of the Second World War, complemented by a seat part for the Lavochkin La-5 fighter, in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus (the Aires line). It is not an aircraft model but a supplementary figure intended to be painted and seated in the cockpit of a matching model. The seat helps to set the pilot into the La-5 cabin precisely.
The Lavochkin La-5 was a Soviet single-seat fighter aircraft with a radial engine, deployed from 1942. It was one of the mainstays of the Soviet fighter force on the Eastern Front, and its pilot in period overalls and with his gear is a rewarding subject to paint.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the joints with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the figure before seating it in the cabin; primer, matte shades for the flight overalls, leather accessories and bringing out the face with a dry brush and glazing all prove their worth.
The figure is supplied unpainted and cast in resin, intended to be glued together and painted. Paints, glue and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
