Photo-etched grille covers for models of the T-34/76 model 1941 tank in 1:48 – vol.2, the additional set from Aber. Fine mesh covers for the engine compartment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model. The additional set (vol.2) is aimed at the covers of the grilles over the engine and cooling compartment for models of the Soviet T-34/76 model 1941 medium tank in 1:48 scale. Openwork mesh from brass sheet really does look airy, which solid plastic cannot manage.
The grille covers are a striking detail on the tank and plastic usually only suggests them. The photo-etched covers have genuine openings, so they create the impression of a view into the innards of the vehicle and markedly raise the realism of the upper part of the hull. The set follows on from the basic set (vol.1) in the same range.
Cut the parts from the fret, run any bends over a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Before fitting them we recommend removing or sanding away the original plastic grille. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer.
The accessory does not hold the model of the tank itself, nor paints or glue. It serves only to detail a kit.
