An add-on set of external stores in 1:48 from the Czech manufacturer Brengun. The real subject is the Czechoslovak Skoda aerial bomb weighing 100 kg. It is not an aircraft model and not a kit: the set serves to complete the armament of a model already being built in the same scale. The number of pieces and the material of the parts are given on the packaging.
The Skoda works were among the significant makers of armament in interwar Czechoslovakia, and aerial ordnance was part of their range. Bombs in the weight class around a hundred kilograms formed the standard armament of the bombers and observation aircraft of the day. In design terms they are an elongated body with tail fins, arranged to be carried on an external or internal rack according to the type of machine.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks with a fine saw or a sharp cutter. If the castings are of resin, wash them in warm water with detergent before painting and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue; bond plastic parts with cement for plastic. Sand wet and with airway protection. Apply a primer and only then the paint. The fins are the thinnest part of the casting, so handle them carefully and dry-fit everything before you glue anything.
The set is an accessory for a model in 1:48. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
