The set replaces and supplements plastic elements with thin brass parts and markedly raises the realism of the model. It is not a tank kit but an added detail accessory.
The KV-1 was a Soviet heavy tank with pronounced armor protection and a 76 mm gun. The late versions received a new cast or welded turret and simplified, narrower fenders, which set their appearance apart from the early machines.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors and make precise bends on a photo-etch bending tool. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or epoxy; degrease the brass before painting and treat it with a primer. It suits more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
