An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat Sukhoi Su-25 UB/UBK combat trainer in 1:48 scale. The package holds plastic frets of parts, a clear canopy part, decals and color building instructions with several finish options. The assembled model is over thirty centimeters long.
The Su-25 is a Soviet, later Russian, single-engine subsonic ground-attack aircraft for the direct support of ground forces, known under the NATO reporting name Frogfoot. The two-seat UB/UBK version served for training pilots as well as for combat use, and it differs from the single-seater in a lengthened fuselage and a tandem cockpit. The machine is known for its rugged structure and its toughness under fire.
Finish both cockpits and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. Use thin cement on the plastic parts, sand the joins and treat the surface with a primer. Lay the camouflage schemes on with an airbrush and apply the decals onto a gloss coat. The underwing stores can be completed to suit the option you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
