A set of masking stencils in kabuki paper for painting the engine exhaust nozzles of a model of the Su-27 Flanker B in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-27 is a Soviet twin-engine heavyweight fighter. The designation Flanker B belongs to the single-seat production guise. On a finished model the engine exhaust nozzles are one of the places a viewer notices first, because they differ in color from the rest of the airframe and inaccurate work shows through on them easily.
Masking stencils in kabuki paper for a model of the Su-27 Flanker B in 1:48 scale, focused on the engine exhaust nozzles. The stencils are cut to shape, so trimming them from tape falls away. The extent of the set and the kit it is intended for are given by the manufacturer's instructions, so check before you buy that it matches your own kit.
The masks are stuck onto a clean and degreased surface before spraying, not once the paint has dried. Press the edges down after applying them with a toothpick or a blunt point, so that no paint seeps under them. Spray in thin coats and preferably from the edge of the mask inward. Take the mask off while the paint is freshly dry; when peeling it away, pull it back over itself at a small angle, not straight upward. For metallic shades on the nozzles a smooth surface pays off, because metallic paints bring out every unevenness.
The set suits modelers who build the Su-27 in 1:48 scale and want the nozzles set apart from the rest of the model without the lengthy business of masking with tape.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
