A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Print Scale. It contains national insignia and markings for the Sukhoi Su-24M tactical bomber and attack aircraft. The decals are transferred onto a model with water (wet decals) and they serve as an alternative or an addition to the decals from the box. The kit itself has to be obtained separately.
The Sukhoi Su-24M is a twin-engine tactical bomber and attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing (a swing wing). It was developed in the Soviet Union for use in all weather and at low altitudes; the M version brought an improved navigation and attack system. It remained in service with the Russian and other air forces even after the Cold War.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents the silvering effect under the film. Cut the motif out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and once it has softened slide it onto the surface of the model. Once dry, go over it with a matte or satin varnish; a decal softener helps it settle onto the detail.
