1:48 Sukhoi Su-30SM TFace is an Eduard masking set in the TFace standard, that is with masks for the outer and the inner side of the glazing. It is not a kit but an aid for painting.

A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for a model of the two-seat Su-30SM in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set takes care of the glazing from both sides — besides the outer masks it contains masks shaped for the inner side of the canopy. The package contains neither a model nor its parts; it is a modeling aid made of kabuki type masking tape from the Czech firm Eduard.
The Su-30SM is a twin-engine two-seat multirole aircraft of the Su-27 family. The crew sits in tandem under a long canopy with several panes, so when the model is built it is the largest area that has to be masked.
On the real aircraft the canopy frames are painted on the inside in the cockpit shade, not in the color of the upper surfaces. When only the outside is masked, bare transparent plastic shows through when you look into the cockpit. The TFace standard solves that by having the inner side of the frames painted as well. The procedure: first apply the inner masks, spray the interior shade, let the part dry, then apply the outer masks and spray the external camouflage. Degrease the glazing beforehand, lay the masks on dry and press them down round the perimeter with a stick — an unstuck edge is the most common cause of seeping.
The package contains masking material only — the model, paints and glue are not part of it. The masks are cut to the specific shape of the glazing, so check before buying that they match the kit you are building.
