1:48 SUU-30A/B early is an Eduard resin detail set from the Brassin range: model representations of aircraft dispensers in the early form. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.

The set holds resin parts of external stores for models of combat aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. SUU-30 is the designation of a dispenser, that is a cylindrical body with tail surfaces, from which the American cluster bombs of the CBU series are made up. The suffix A/B and the qualifier early define the early production version, which differs from the later ones in details of shape. The set belongs to the Brassin resin range, that is to the premium branch of accessories, whose castings have crisper edges and a finer surface than the injection-molded plastic from a kit.
A dispenser of this type is made up of two shells that separate in flight and release the contents inside; standard pylons serve to carry it, so it appeared in the external stores under the wings of a whole generation of American tactical aircraft. Modelers know it mainly as a characteristic slender cylinder with cruciform tail surfaces, which appeared under a wing often in pairs and in larger numbers.
Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a detergent, so that remnants of release agent disappear. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a disc and level the surface on abrasive paper; when sanding resin, work with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. It pays to paint all the bodies at once on a shared stick first and only then separate them and fit them. Finally, bring out the longitudinal parting seams of the shells with a thin wash, as otherwise they will disappear under the paint.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
