T-34/76, ice cleats 1:48 is a Hauler photo-etched set for the cleats that were fitted to the tracks of the tank in snow and mud.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory in photo-etched sheet from the Czech maker Hauler, cut for a particular kit, the Tamiya one. The cleats, in English ice grousers, are transverse metal elements fitted to the links of the track; it is not a kit of the vehicle but a small item of equipment for a model.
In winter and waterlogged terrain the tracks lost their grip, which is why transverse cleats that bit into the surface were fitted into selected links. When the crew did not need them, they carried them fixed to the sides of the hull or to the fenders. Both positions are interesting for a model and they can be combined.
The parts are small and all of them have to be bent the same way, as otherwise the row on the track looks irregular. It pays to make a simple template from a strip of sheet and bend piece by piece against it. Cut them off on a surface and hold the part down with the tip of a scalpel, so that it does not spring away. When painting, leave the contact surfaces of the cleats metallically bright, as if the terrain had rubbed them, and weather the rest with the same mud as the running gear.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
