This set is a resin accessory, not a kit of a whole aircraft. It contains a faithfully rendered triple ejector rack of the TER type in the TER-7 version with the period designation A/A37B-5, as American naval aviation used it. The accessory is intended to be hung under the pylon of a suitable model and to extend the external stores realistically.
A triple ejector rack makes it possible to carry and release three stores (bombs or pods) from a single pylon. On US Navy carrier machines it belonged to the common equipment for increasing the number of weapons carried. Its exact use differed according to the type of aircraft and the mission.
The parts are resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off them, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The rack usually carries a uniform shade matching the external stores of the machine in question; the cast detail can be brought out with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
