A resin diorama accessory, not a model. The set reproduces a utility trailer of American naval aviation with a bed measuring 36 by 60 inches, loaded with absorbents for catching spills of operating fluids, in 1:48 scale. The trailer belongs to the service equipment on the ramp and in the hangar; on its own it is not an aircraft kit.
Utility trailers carried tools, materials and, in this case, absorbents with which the crew dealt with fuel and oil spills. In a scene they give the setting service credibility and a sense of scale. The resin renders the frame, the bed, the wheels and the load of absorbents faithfully. The accessory goes well with mechanic figures, towing equipment and aircraft models.
