A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for the Polish PZL W-3 Sokol helicopter, which the supplier lists under the designation W-3W in a government configuration.
Responsibility details are not available.
The PZL W-3 Sokol is a Polish twin-engine multirole helicopter. It flies in military, police and rescue colors, and the individual machines differ from one another precisely in their finish and lettering, so the decals decide which particular example ends up on the model. The supplier lists this item under the designation W-3W and as a government machine.
The decals complete the model with national insignia, numbers and lettering, that is, with what is hard to paint onto plastic. The set is listed for 1:48 scale, which agrees with the name of the item.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version; a self-adhesive film that has been wetted is ruined, whereas a wet decal that has not been wetted can be wetted later. With an ordinary wet sheet, proceed in the usual way: cut the item out together with its backing paper, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, let it stand and then slide it onto a glossy area of the model. Gloss varnish under a decal prevents silvering. Draw the remaining water off and settle the item with a softener; once it has dried, go over it with a flat or semi-gloss varnish to match the rest of the model.
The helicopter model, paints, varnishes and a decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
