GasPatch 1:48 bundle of Lewis Family machine guns (8 pcs) is a resin set of eight replicas of the British Lewis aircraft machine gun in various forms. A detail armament accessory, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This bundle from the Greek manufacturer GasPatch holds eight resin replicas of the British Lewis aircraft machine gun in various forms of the Lewis family, in 1:48 scale. The package is a detail accessory for modelers, not a kit of an airplane in its own right.
The Lewis was a British light machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber (.303) with a pan magazine. On the aircraft of the Great War it was used in the jacketed form and in the lightened form without the cooling jacket, most often as the observer's flexible weapon or above the upper wing. The casting captures the body of the weapon, the magazine and the detail of the individual variants.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Bring out the metal surfaces with steel shades and a fine dry brush.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
