Etched instrument bezels for First World War aircraft 1:48 are a universal photo-etched accessory. They give the instruments in a cockpit a raised, realistic rim. It is not a model but a detail set.

This is not a model of an aircraft but a universal photo-etched (PE) accessory from a Czech maker. The set contains finely etched metal bezels (rims) for instruments that are fitted in a cockpit over the individual dials. That gives the dial a raised, standing rim of the kind real aircraft instruments had. The detail is intended for models of First World War aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The instrument panels of period aircraft had a number of round dials with prominent metal rings. A flat decal or molded instrument panel from a kit looks flat; fitted etched bezels give it depth and come out well when you look into an open cockpit.
Separate the parts carefully from the carrier fret and fit them onto the instruments, ideally over the instrument decals. Glue with cyanoacrylate in a small amount. Degrease the metal before painting; the round rings look best in a metallic or black shade, which picks out the rim of the dial.
The accessory needs a base kit; glue, paints and a model are not included in the package.
