Colored three-dimensional interior elements for models of the OV-1A and JOV-1A Mohawk in 1:72 scale from ClearProp.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was an American twin-engine turboprop observation and reconnaissance aircraft with a crew of two sitting side by side. It can be recognized by its triple vertical tail and the extensively glazed front of the cockpit, which gave the crew the view they needed for observing the ground. That glazing is exactly why the inside of the cockpit stays clearly visible on a finished model.
The set brings colored three-dimensional interior elements in 1:72 scale, prepared for the ClearProp kit in the OV-1A and JOV-1A versions. The elements have the color and the shading printed on them, so there is no need to paint the instrument panels, the side consoles and the small stenciling with a brush.
The method of application differs from set to set, so follow the manufacturer's instructions before you start. They say how the elements are lifted off the backing and what fixes them to the part. The surface should be dry, smooth and degreased, and the element should be pressed down from the center toward the edges so that no air is trapped under it.
The set suits modelers building a Mohawk with an open or clearly visible cockpit who do not want to paint the tiny instruments by hand.
The package holds the interior elements only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
