The figure is posed seated behind the handlebars, so it is a fitting complement to a build of the Kettenkraftrad or to a diorama scene. It is a resin kit for experienced modelers - the figure has to be cleaned, cut from the casting blocks, glued and painted. Aerobonus is the figure range of the Aires company.
The Kettenkraftrad HK 101 (Sd.Kfz. 2) was a small German half-track tractor with a front wheel steered like that of a motorcycle. It was used to tow light loads and guns and to work field airfields. The crew sat in the open, so the figure of the driver is key to a convincing scene.
