WWII Road Signs, part four is a printed paper sheet with period markings for a diorama in 1:6 scale. It is not a model and not a waterslide decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed paper sheet with period traffic markings to complete large dioramas and the scenes around figures in 1:6 scale. You work with it as with paper: cutting, backing and gluing. It is not a kit and the package holds no structural parts. The period look of the signs has a single role here — to make the scene believable.
A sign is a strong compositional element, because it draws the eye before a figure does. Place it rather in the second plane or at the edge of the base so that it leads the eye into the scene and not out of it. Covering it partly with a branch or a vehicle works well too — the viewer fills in the rest and the scene looks less staged. Plan the layout according to the actual print.
Before cutting, glue the design to a thin backing and let it dry under a weight, otherwise the paper will wrinkle. You manage a fold over an edge by scoring the back lightly with the blunt side of a scalpel. Glue with PVA glue brushed over the whole area. Build the weathering sparingly: a weak wash, rubbing of the edges with a dry brush and a dust shade at the foot. Suggest damage with a scuffed edge rather than with holes. Matte varnish at the end, ideally in two thin coats.
This is a printed paper accessory for a diorama, not a model. Glue, paints and backing material are not included in the package.
