The vehicle is executed as a die-cast, that is with a pressure-cast metal body and plastic detail, and it comes assembled and painted from the factory in 1:64 scale. The model belongs to the Amercom fire appliances of the world range and is intended as a collector piece for a display cabinet.
The American company Seagrave, based in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the oldest makers of fire-fighting equipment. The 70th Anniversary Series introduced an entirely new postwar design in the early 1950s, with a bold front end and a massive chrome grille. The 1952 subject therefore represents the typical American fire appliance of that era.
The model carries printed detail, rubber tires and period paintwork. Because it belongs to the fire appliances of the world collection, it can be built up into a complete set. Keep the model away from dust and direct sunlight to preserve the printing.
