This kit from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains a set of miniature carrier fighters Brewster F2A Buffalo in 1:700 scale. This is not one large airplane model, but a set of several small aircraft with which you will complete and bring to life the decks of models of aircraft carriers or of other warships in the same scale. The parts are injection-molded in plastic.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American carrier-based fighter monoplane from the middle of the 1930s with a cantilever metal structure, a radial engine and retractable landing gear. It served with the US Navy at the beginning of the Second World War, and the export version was used by a number of other countries as well. For its stubby silhouette it is among the characteristic prewar carrier machines.
Given the small scale, work with a sharp knife and tweezers and use thin cement for plastic in a small amount. The aircraft can be painted with a brush as well as with an airbrush; the small details will stand out with the dry brush technique. We recommend painting the aircraft on a stick first and only then seating them on the deck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
