Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small supplementary parts in 1:700 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Pit-Road, fourth in order within this range. It is not a ship kit and not a finished model, but material for raising the detail of a kit you already own. The set will be appreciated by modelers who want the equipment of the deck and the superstructures to match the scale better than parts molded in one piece with the hull.
Detail sets of this kind are used as a kit within a kit. With them you replace the components that most give away the simplification on a finished model, and keep the rest of the parts in reserve for the next build. That is exactly why it is good to get the set together with the model you are currently building and to work out straight away which parts you will use. The specific contents of this package are stated on the box.
Sets of small parts go well with photo-etched parts, for example railings and ladders. Plan the order of assembly in advance, though: plastic parts are glued with cement for plastic and photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue, and when you combine both in one place it is easy to dissolve or fog the surrounding surface. It works well to finish the deck first, including its paint, then fit the plastic equipment and leave the photo-etch for the very end. Dose the cyanoacrylate glue with a pin, because even a small drop is more than enough for the size of the part. A matte varnish at the end will unify the surface and secure the small parts.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
