The SC-1 Seahawk 1:700 from the manufacturer Trumpeter is a set of US Navy shipboard scout floatplanes for populating ship models in 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The plastic set from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains several pieces of the SC-1 Seahawk scout floatplane in 1:700 scale. This is not a stand-alone airplane model, but an accessory for populating models of warships in the same scale. The parts tend to be molded in clear plastic. Glue, paints and the target ship model are not included in the package.
The SC-1 Seahawk is an American shipboard scout floatplane from the end of the Second World War. It was launched by catapult from cruisers and battleships and was used for scouting and observation. It was replacing older observation floatplanes and represented one of the last generations of shipboard catapult aircraft of the US Navy.
Separate the floats and the small parts with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue. Painting is possible with a brush as well as with an airbrush; it works well to lay down the base color first and the small markings afterwards. The finished machines are seated on the ship's catapult or on a parking spot on the deck of the ship model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
