Precisely turned brass barrels for the American 5in/25 naval gun (127 mm caliber, that is 5 inches, 25 calibers length) in 1:700 scale from the MASTER company. The package contains 14 pieces and replaces the plastic barrels with a more accurate metal part.
The short 5in/25 anti-aircraft gun was fitted on many American battleships and cruisers in the period from the 1920s to the 1940s. It was a light and easily handled weapon intended against aircraft.
Turned brass gives straight barrels with a symmetrical muzzle. Fourteen pieces cover the anti-aircraft batteries of the model.
Cut off the original barrel, widen the hole with a fine drill and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
