The real subject

Maps were an indispensable part of planning as well as conducting the fighting during the landings in June 1944. Even in a small scale a map spread out can give a scene the authentic period character of a command post or of a unit at rest.

Use

• Cut the small maps out and place them carefully on a surface or beside groups of figures.
• Glue them down with a thin layer of PVA glue.
• Because of the small format, tweezers and a sharp knife are recommended.
• Suitable for smaller dioramas and modular scenes.
