Responsibility details are not available.
The AAVP-7A1 is an American amphibious assault vehicle of the Marine Corps. This tracked, floating and fairly bulky machine has a single task: to carry an infantry squad from a ship through the surf onto the shore and to keep going with it on land. That is exactly why it has a tall box-shaped superstructure, which gives it buoyancy on the water, and why it looks so massive beside an ordinary armored personnel carrier.
The abbreviation EAAK designates a kit of add-on armor with which the vehicles were retrofitted. These are panels attached to the sides and the front of the hull that increase resistance to small arms rounds and to fragments. On the model they are easy to spot: they change the outline of the vehicle and break the smooth sides up into a heavily divided surface, so a machine with the add-on armor can be told from the basic form at a glance.
A finished model in 1:72 scale. It does not have to be assembled or painted; once unpacked you only have to stand it in a display case or beside other models of the same scale. Handle it by the hull, not by the fine external parts, and use a soft brush when cleaning it; a cloth catches on the protruding parts.
A display case and diorama accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
