A plastic kit of an armored train in 1:72 scale. An unassembled, unpainted model for a display case and for a railway layout alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
An armored train joined two things that at first glance do not belong together: the railway and armor. Along the rails it was possible to move armament that wheeled or tracked vehicles could not have carried, and the crew had supplies and the protection of steel walls at their disposal. The disadvantage was complete dependence on the line, because a damaged track stopped a train. Trains came about by converting ordinary railway vehicles, so their appearance and make-up differed from one to the next.
This is a plastic kit in 1:72 scale, supplied unassembled and unpainted. The procedure step by step is described in the enclosed instructions, which also state the extent of the parts and the coloring options offered. Which vehicle of a train the package captures does not follow from the name, so look for that on the packaging.
Try the assembly dry first, especially on the long sides, where every deviation shows along the whole length. Cut the surplus material off a little away from the part and sand the rest. Glue with glue intended for plastic models and let the joints set on a flat surface so that the model does not warp. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. Railway vehicles look convincing when matte armor is set apart from the more glossy railheads and wheels; dust the running gear and add traces of rust in the places where the sheet meets the chassis.
Paints, thinner, glue, track and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The extent of the package is stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
