An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The subject is a Soviet armored train belonging to the 29th Division. The assignment to a particular unit is what sets this formation apart from the other variants in the range.
Soviet armored trains brought together an armored locomotive, artillery and air defense cars and control platforms. They served for fire support, for protecting the line and for transport. A particular formation was tied to a particular unit, here the 29th Division.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work from the chassis and the running gear upward. Cut the tiny parts of the armor and the armament away with care. Rust shades, washes in the riveted gaps and dust pigments suit the patina. We recommend a primer and an airbrush.
