An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The subject is an armored train of the OB-3 type named Zheleznodorozhnik (Railroader). The OB-3 type represents the standardized version of Soviet armored trains.
Armored trains of the OB-3 type brought together an armored locomotive, artillery and air defense cars and control platforms. A number of formations were given names expressing their purpose or the origin of their crew. They served for fire support and for protecting the line.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work from the chassis and the running gear upward. Cut the tiny parts of the armor and the armament away with care. Rust shades, washes in the riveted gaps and dust pigments suit the patina. We recommend a primer and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
