An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 fighter in the R1 fit with additional underwing cannons (the cannon pods) in 1:72 scale from the brand AZ model. The set contains plastic sprues, clear parts and decals for several marking options. The R1 fit gives the build an interesting difference in armament.
The Bf 109F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was an aerodynamically refined version of the famous German fighter with cannon armament on the axis of the propeller. The R1 field conversion kit added a pair of pods with 20 mm cannons under the wings, which raised firepower at the cost of agility and speed. Machines armed this way were used above all against well-protected targets.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. In the small scale, take care over the clean seating of the canopy and the fine struts. We recommend a primer, camouflage with an airbrush and a gloss clear coat over the areas under the decals. Bring the panel lines out with a wash and add fine exhaust staining behind the engine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
